The Cambridge Cardiology Clinic was founded by Dr Costopoulos and Dr Costanzo to provide specialist care and treatment for patients with heart conditions.

For your convenience, our consultations can take place at either the Royal Papworth Hospital (private care) or Nuffield Health, both in Cambridge. Additionally, we are delighted to be able to offer our services at OneWelbeck and OneHeart in central London.

Dr Pierluigi Costanzo is a highly distinguished cardiologist practicing at Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge where he is the Clinical Lead for Coronary Intervention.

He has vast experience in the field of general cardiology and interventional cardiology.
Dr Costanzo is an expert in dealing with common heart-related issues (angina or chest
tightness, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizzy spells, blackouts).
He also undertakes a broad range of key-hole heart interventions, including coronary (heart arteries) angioplasty, stents (to relieve angina and provide improved blood flow to the heart muscle) as well as the treatment of heart valve problems (particularly for the aortic valve, for which he performs TAVI procedures to replace damaged aortic valves).

He currently practises in Cambridge at the world-renowned Royal Papworth Hospital and at the Nuffield Hospital.
Dr Charis Costopoulos is a highly esteem cardiologist practicing at Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge where he is the Clinical Lead for Structural Heart Intervention.

His main areas of expertise include coronary artery disease, chest pain, palpitations, breathlessness, heart failure, and valvular heart disease.
He performs a variety of key-hole interventional procedures including coronary (heart arteries) angioplasty (stent insertion), transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) for diseased aortic valve.
Key-hole interventions include also MitraClip implantation for leaky mitral valve and closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO) , amongst many others of the structural heart intervention portfolio at Royal Papworth Hospital.
He currently practises at the world-renowned Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge and at the prestigious London based OneWelbeck Clinic and OneHeart Clinic.
